What's Going On?

Nothing.

I haven't been blogging because we haven't really been doing anything. I like to write about the places we go and the things we do, but we've just been hanging out at home doing nothing. So I haven't been blogging.

But then I started thinking about all of the things that happen every day while we're at home doing nothing. We're constantly playing, laughing, tickling, chasing, reading, and having fun together. I still feel guilty sometimes about Henry not having siblings. But, with the way Jeff and I play with him, hopefully he won't miss out on too much.

Henry loves playing in his frog tent. It's played with EVERY day. Thanks, Grammy!
Lately we've been playing hide-and-seek a lot. Either Jeff or I will run and hide and then the other person will escort Henry around the house looking. When Henry finds us, we usually jump out and yell, and then we all laugh. It's so fun to see Henry having so much fun.

Henry has just recently become interested in coloring. His coloring is just scribbles, but he likes to "direct" me to color. He points and says, "Mommy color that blue" or "Mommy make a yellow pyramid with a sun and a snake and lots of trees." Yes, sir! We color and play with stickers A LOT.
Henry still has no interest in potty training. When we ask whether he wants to go potty on the toilet, he says, "I can't!" We've started saying, "Yes, you can!" but his response is "But, I don't WANT to." You can't really argue with that. We've tried all kinds of bribery. Lollipops, toys, a trip to Toys 'R'Us. Nothing works. Henry would like a bunk bed, so the other day Jeff told him that once he is potty trained, he can have a bunk bed. The next day Henry was telling me that he wants a bunk bed, so I asked him what he had to do FIRST, before he could get a bunk bed. He said, "I have to go potty on the train tracks." I didn't get it at all, and told him that NO, he has to go potty on the TOILET. Then I realized what he meant. He thought that being "potty trained" meant that he had to go potty on the train tracks. Too funny!

So, even though we haven't been doing much, we've actually been doing a lot. Every day is fun and entertaining with our little superhero.

Oh, it looks to me like Hen got a big boy haircut. He is truly a curly-top!

That's really funny about peeing on the train tracks. He probably thought that "trained" was a pretty silly word for either the train or the tracks-so he made it make sense.

Love new pics!!! Grammy

I love the frog tent! That is AWESOME!
I can't believe how big he's getting!
Good luck with the potty training...I'm not overly anxious for our upcoming battles with that!
